underbid v (-dd-; pt, pp underbid) 1 [Tn] make a lower bid than (sb else), eg at an auction 出价低於(他人)(如拍卖时). 2 [I, Tn] (in bridge, etc) bid less on (a hand of cards) than its strength suggests (桥牌等中)叫牌低於(手中牌)的实力. Cf 参看 overbid.
